Understanding Fontodi, Chianti Classico, Vigna del Sorbo Gran Selezione, Tuscany
Vigna Sorbo comes from old vines grown in one of the estate's most prime sites, with the wine produced only in exceptional years. Grapes are hand-picked and undergo rigorous selection before vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures in Tronçais and Allier barriques, with around half being new, for approximately 24 months to create an elegantly complex, age-worthy wine.
