The Marsanne and Roussanne fruit for Chevalier de Sterimberg is sourced from the terraced vineyards of Hermitage, characterised by their mineral-rich soils and favourable microclimates. This terroir, coupled with the vine age, is crucial in imparting the wine with its unique profile and depth. Grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a meticulous selection process. Vinification takes place in a combination of oak, stainless steel tanks and concrete eggs, the shape of which promotes full and rounded fermentation.
