Jasmin's Giroflarie is predominantly crafted from Syrah sourced from 11 prime parcels, with a small percentage of Viognier, adhering to the classic Côte-Rôtie blend. The age of the vines and diverse soils enhance the intensity and flavour complexity. Patrick Jasmin's approach to winemaking combines traditional techniques with a modern sensibility. Fermentation promotes the development of finessed fruit richness and elegant structure. The wine is aged in a combination of new and old oak, adding layers of complexity while respecting the inherent qualities of the fruit.
