The Arioso cuvée reflects the Saouma family's dedication to producing wines that transcend expectations. Made entirely from Grenache hailing from the esteemed Pignan lieu-dit, this wine captures the unique terroir of the region, delivering a harmonious blend that showcases the distinct characteristics of the Southern Rhône. The top-quality source of fruit is even more impressive considering that the estate selected it from a choice of unwanted plots and meticulously cultivated its vines when it established itself in the region. Following careful fermentation, the wine is aged in large demi-muids for about 60 months before bottling. Despite such an extended maturation stage, this wine retains a fresh, vibrant character while also developing depth, nuance and complexity. Arioso features dark fruit, liquorice savoury herb, liquorice and spice in a layered, velvety, full-bodied palate supported by fine-grained tannins. This wine has impressive ageing potential.
