Deux Freres vineyard is a blend of wines hailing from a range of plots characterised by the iconic Galets Roulés, clay and limestone soils. This diversity imparts a rich tapestry of flavours and aromas to the grapes, adding structure and complexity. Grapes are hand-picked at their peak and undergo a rigorous selection process. Fermentation is carried out with a “hands off” approach to allow terroir to shine through. The wine ages in a mix of new and once-used oak, allowing for a harmonious integration of flavours, fruit and tannins. Deux Freres features ripe red and black fruit interwoven with notes of spice, herb and a hint of minerality in a full-bodied yet graceful palate with silky tannins and a vibrant acidity. This distinguished blend has impressive cellaring potential.
