Marie Beurrier is primarily composed of Grenache, with a complement of other traditional Rhône varietals, sourced from Bonneau's centenarian vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. These vineyards are renowned for their classic terroir, featuring the iconic, heat-retentive Galets Roulés and a diverse soil composition, which impart complexity. Grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a meticulous selection to ensure only the highest quality fruit is used. All varietals are co-fermented in a mix of traditional concrete tanks and wooden vats, a step that adds fruity depth. This is followed by three to four years of ageing in a variety of oak barrels. This methodical approach enhances the wine's complexity. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Marie Beurrier displays ripe red and black fruit complemented by garrigue, leather and a subtle minerality in a luxuriant palate with polished tannins. Marie Beurrier also has impressive ageing potential.
