Quet is a blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre, sourced from the estate's oldest and most revered vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. These vineyards are characterised by their classic Galets Roulés (large, smooth pebbles) and diverse soil types, which contribute to the complexity and intensity of the wine. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and undergo a rigorous selection process. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled conditions, allowing for precise flavour development. The wine is then aged in a combination of very old oak barrels and large casks. This stage adds subtle notes of spice and depth to the wine's profile without overshadowing the fruit. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Quet exhibits dark fruit, spice and herbaceous hints on a powerful and finessed palate supported by well-integrated tannins and a lingering, robust finish.
