Baron de L is crafted from Sauvignon Blanc, a varietal that thrives in the clay, flint and limestone soils of Pouilly-Fumé. Fruit comes from several top-grade parcels. The Loire Valley's temperate climate ensures balanced grapes and there’s a focus on low yields to enhance the concentration and complexity of the fruit. Only the finest grapes are harvested with fruit from different parcels processed individually to retain their unique characteristics before blending. Wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel and then rests on its lees for several months, a step that develops texture.
