This exquisite wine is made from a select blend of the estate’s prize Syrah grapes, nurtured in the optimal soils and microclimate of the La Clape. The vineyards, characterised by rich soil composition, are managed to yield low but intensely flavorful grapes. The proximity to the sea imparts a unique mineral and saline quality to the wine. The winemaking process is a blend of tradition and innovation, with full destemming and controlled fermentation to encourage fruit intensity. This is followed by ageing in new French oak barrels. This approach balances the intrinsic bold fruit flavours of the Syrah with the nuance imparted by oak.
