This wine is a masterful expression of Chardonnay, grown in the distinct terroir of the Clos de la Tour de Curon. The south-facing, terraced vineyard's marl and limestone scree soils, combined with the unique microclimate of the Jura, impart a remarkable complexity and minerality to the grapes. The estate farms with biodynamic practices. Vinification occurs in used Burgundy barrels to add flavour and structure. The wine matures for 42 months, followed by 30 months under yeast flor. These stages enhance the wine's texture and depth while preserving the purity and expression of the Chardonnay grape. Clos de la Tour de Curon displays ripe citrus, green apple, almond, white florals and tones of flinty minerality in a creamy, elegant palate with vibrant acidity. This Jura Chardonnay has exceptional cellaring potential.
