Domaine François Lamarche's Vosne-Romanée Les Chaumes showcases a Pinot Noir of distinguished elegance and finesse, originating from the esteemed Les Chaumes vineyard in the iconic Vosne-Romanée appellation, part of the illustrious Côte de Nuits. This wine is a testament to the Lamarche family's expertise and their ability to capture the essence of Vosne-Romanée's terroir, embodying the harmonious interplay between power and subtlety that characterises the region's finest offerings. Domaine François Lamarche ceased to exist in 2018 when the property’s name was changed making its wines increasingly rare.

Adopting biodynamic and organic farming methods, Domaine François Lamarche nurtured their vines to reflect the unique characteristics of the Les Chaumes vineyard. This wine saw temperature-controlled open vat fermentation to preserve fruit purity and ageing in new oak for 16 to 18 months. The wine was not fined or filtered to allow terroir expression to shine through. This Les Chaumes features black fruit, floral notes and a hint of spice, all underpinned by a silky texture and a refined structure. This Premier Cru has excellent ageing ability.
