The Les Perrières vines are nurtured with sustainable practices that respect the land, promote the ecosystem's natural balance and encourage terroir expression. This approach, combined with a winemaking philosophy that emphasises minimal intervention and natural yeast fermentation, allows the true nature of the Chardonnay grapes to shine. A six to 12-hour cold soak before fermentation teases out fruit purity with 10 to 12 months of ageing in 15% new French oak barrels enhancing the wine's texture and depth without overshadowing its intrinsic mineral and fruit qualities. This stage is followed by about six months of blending and resting in tank for silky integration of the wine’s elements. This Meursault Les Perrières Blanc displays ripe orchard fruit, citrus, delicate floral notes and a distinctive minerality in an elegant palate with vibrant acidity. This Premier Cru has excellent ageing potential.
