Produced from sustainably farmed Pinot Noir grapes, the wine is fermented and aged in barrels for 12 months with 20-25% new wood, followed by six months in old casks. It is bottled without filtration or fining. The wine’s classic bouquet melds cherry and raspberry with some sous bois and baking spices. It is rich and fleshy, with ripe tannins and a succulent fruit core. The Wine Advocate’s William Kelley has described it as ‘enveloping and gourmand’, and according to Burghound, this wine possesses ‘excellent concentration’.
