Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks run on geothermal energy. Other processes are powered by solar and wind power. Ageing for 12 months in 25%-new French oak barrels adds depth and complexity without overpowering the fruity intensity. Château Tronquoy-Lalande displays dark berry fruit, liquorice and subtle spice in a finessed palate underpinned by a firm tannic structure. This Grand Vin promises excellent ageing potential.
