The estate is owned by the De Schepper family who purchased the property in 1996 and also possess several other Bordeaux estates. In the 2022 classification, it was promoted to Grand Cru Classé. The château’s holdings encompass five hectares planted more than four-fifths to Merlot alongside 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Despite its youth, Château La Croizille quickly distinguished itself through its dedication to quality and innovation. Under the De Schepper stewardship, the estate has flourished, embracing cutting-edge winemaking technologies while maintaining a deep respect for the land and its history.
