This estate, brought under the wing of Domaine Clarence Dillon in 2011, marks a significant expansion of their esteemed portfolio, which includes the legendary Château Haut-Brion. Named after the Roman word for "fifth," Quintus symbolises the fifth vineyard acquired by the Dillon family, and it stands on a site known for centuries of viticultural excellence. The estate combines the historic properties of Château Tertre Daugay and Château L'Arrosée, creating a singular entity that honours its heritage while forging a new legacy of winemaking excellence. The estate is committed to producing wines that reflect the unique identity of its terroir, with a focus on elegance, depth, and harmony. Through meticulous vineyard management and sustainable viticultural practices, Château Quintus aims to craft wines that are not only a reflection of their environment but also a testament to the estate's dedication to quality and innovation. Sustainable viticulture is practised at the estate with it achieving High Environmental Value (HEV) status in 2018, and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems in 2019.
