Located within the acclaimed terroirs of Saint-Émilion, the historic Château L'Arrosee has traces back to the early 19th century. Esteemed for its deep-rooted history and contributions to the Bordeaux wine legacy, the estate has consistently produced wines that reflect the richness and diversity of its appellation. The estate has passed through several hands since its founding and includes one of Napolean’s ministers as one of its former owners. In 2013, it was bought by Domaine Clarence Dillon, owner of the First Growth Château Haut-Brion in Pessac-Léognan. Under its new stewardship, the château has undergone significant modernisation while maintaining its traditional winemaking ethos. Positioned on the limestone plateaus and clay slopes characteristic of Saint-Émilion, the house’s ten hectares of Merlot-dominant vines benefit from an ideal microclimate and terroir, which contribute significantly to the distinctive profiles of its wines. The estate’s commitment to quality and sustainability has led to its wines being celebrated for their balance, aromatic depth, and longevity.
