The grapes for Chapelle d'Ausone come from the younger, biodynamically-farmed vines of the ChâteauAusone estate, which enjoys a prime location on limestone-rich hillsides. This terroir imparts a unique minerality and complexity to the grapes, contributing significantly to the wine's distinctive character and elegance. The winemaking process for Chapelle d'Ausone mirrors that of the château’s Grand Vin, emphasising precision and care. The wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled vats and is then aged for 18 months in new French oak.
