Château La Fleur-Pétrus, a celebrated estate in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, is steeped in the rich winemaking tradition of Bordeaux. The château, named for its position between Château Lafleur and Château Pétrus, two of the most prestigious estates in Pomerol, has been a beacon of quality and elegance since its establishment in the early 20th century. The estate’s wine is Merlot-dominant and is admired for its finesse and age-worthiness. Vigneron, Jean-Pierre Moueix purchased the property in 1953 which was followed by expansion over the ensuing decades. The property’s main vineyard is located opposite Château Pétrus. The Moueix family's commitment to elevating the estate has solidified its reputation as a producer of some of the most exquisite and coveted wines in the region.
