Château Hosanna is an esteemed estate located in the heart of Pomerol benefiting from an exceptional terroir that has been revered for centuries. Though the name Château Hosanna, created through the splitting up of Château Certan Giraud in 1999, is a relatively recent addition to the landscape of Bordeaux, the vineyards themselves have a rich history that traces back to the 18th century. The estate is situated opposite the prestigious Château Pétrus. Acquired by the Moueix family in the latter half of the 20th century, Château Hosanna has been nurtured and developed to express the full potential of its outstanding terroir. The Moueix family, renowned for their stewardship of some of Bordeaux's most prestigious estates, has applied their expertise to elevate Château Hosanna to a highly-regarded wine producer. The estate's four-and-a-half hectares of vines, predominantly Merlot with a significant portion of Cabernet Franc, are planted in the rich clay and gravel soils that define Pomerol, contributing to its wine's depth, complexity, and elegance.
