Château Pibran, nestled in the prestigious Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, has a rich history that dates back to the 17th century. The estate has seen considerable evolution over the years, with significant enhancements in both the vineyard and winemaking facilities under the stewardship of the AXA Millésimes group, which acquired it in the 1980s. The modern era of Château Pibran has been marked by a commitment to producing high-quality wines that reflect the distinctive terroir of Pauillac. Overseeing the transformation and quality of production is the renowned team from Château Pichon Baron, which has been instrumental in elevating Château Pibran's profile on the global stage. The house is managed by Christian Seely and is one of six Pauillac Cru Bourgeois classified chateaux with neighbours that include Chateau Mouton Rothschild and Chateau Pontet Canet. The 17-hectare comprises 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 54% Merlot alongside a small quantity of Cabernet Franc. The vines have an average age of 30 years.
