This wine originates in the Goldert vineyard, renowned for its limestone and marl soil composition. These soils, along with the unique microclimate of Alsace, contribute to the development of Gewurztraminer. The late harvest supports optimum ripeness, a higher sugar content and a more pronounced flavour profile. Winemaking sees selective handpicking of the ripest grapes followed by gentle pressing and fermentation. The winemaking approach promotes the natural sweetness and aromatic intensity of the fruit. The wine typically ages in stainless steel to maintain purity and expressiveness. Voluptuous and sweet, Goldert Gewurztraminer VT features lychee, rose petals, honey, spice, ginger, candied fruit and tropical fruit. A touch of minerality enhances a long finish.
