The Coach House Block, renowned for its low-yielding Shiraz vines, is the source of this exquisite wine. These vines, deeply rooted in the rich, loam and mineral-laden soils of the Barossa Valley, produce grapes of exceptional quality and intensity, reflecting the unique characteristics of this iconic wine region. Grapes are harvested at peak ripeness from several small parcels to ensure a perfect balance of flavour, acidity and tannins. The winemaking process involves careful fermentation in open-top fermenters with extended maceration for richness. Malolactic fermentation follows to promote roundness and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration which supports terroir expression. The wine is then matured in a combination of new and seasoned French oak for 18 months, adding complexity. Two Hands Coach House Block Shiraz presents dark fruit, chocolate, spice and oak hints in a luxurious and full-bodied palate with well-integrated tannins. This wine has remarkable cellaring potential.
